Investigation Reviews
Shields CSC and its associates have proven expertise in conducting thorough investigation reviews for private sector organizations and law enforcement agencies. The investigation review process has become an essential element of all major investigations. Executive Background Checks

Technical Surveillance Counter Measures (TSCM) Surveys
Shields CSC, TSCM Surveys – often known as "bug sweeps" – are designed to detect the presence of unwanted monitoring devices that may have been placed within selected areas of our clients’ facilities. The surveys are conducted to the highest standard using equipment that is capable of detecting the latest devices. The surveys are a mix of physical, electronic, radio frequency and telephone integrity, which produce a comprehensive picture of the area.

Our team is able to respond to urgent requests for TSCM surveys, for instance in advance of key meetings where sensitive information is discussed – this has proven particularly important to major financial organizations. We also provide a service to monitor meetings for devices that are activated during the progress of a meeting.[Our team can also advise on the purchase and use of TSCM equipment.

Physical Security
Shields CSC helps clients identify and understand the security threats they face and provides services to mitigate the risks associated with these threats. Our services range from providing strategic audits for Boards to personal security for high profile figures and their families.

Strategic Security Audit
Shields CSC conducts Strategic Security Audits for Boards, giving them an understanding of how security risks are assessed and managed by their company, and identifying any gaps that may exist. The audit gives the Board confidence that they are fulfilling their corporate governance obligations and ensures that effective policies and procedures are implemented in an area where they do not have specific expertise. Shields CSC provides an independent view of the security threats and their associated risks which cannot be provided by the client’s usual auditors. Threat Assessments and Security Surveys
Shields Threat Assessments can be focused on individuals, specific sites and facilities or businesses. These draw on a wide range of sources, are conducted by experts, and help individuals and companies understand their vulnerabilities in Jamaica or overseas. Shields offers its clients strategies and advice on how to reduce these vulnerabilities and conducts regular security reviews and audits to assess progress.

Close Protection and Security Liaison
Shields CSC provides close protection teams and/or security liaison officers to senior executives, high net worth individuals and staff deployed in high-risk environments. We also provide security liaison officers for critical staff when deployed overseas. Our team responds directly to the specific needs of our clients – each client will have an individual risk assessment and tolerance. Crisis Management and Response to Serious Crime and Terrorism

Tracking Location and Monitoring Systems (TLMS)
One of our Technical Division's key competencies is the ability to design and develop bespoke tracking location and monitoring systems (TLMS). This development process is based on our unrivalled understanding of the market gained through many years experience in the TLMS field. Our dedicated technical facility and our in house design team allow us to be very flexible and responsive in our approach to problem solving. Shields have extensive experience in geographical location using GSM, GPS or RFDF based technologies.

CCTV and Access Control Systems
Shields CSC has vast experience in the entire security arena especially in the fields of access control and Closed Circuit Television, (CCTV). Shields CSC will identify high risk areas requiring monitoring and access control then design a complete system to mitigate identified risks. Any system provided will be specially tailored to the everyday situation applicable to your business.
